Brent has always been inspired by the early painting masters of the Romantic period.
This was a period of art that depicted the most dramatic moments in nature and society
frozen in time. From Turner's burning houses of parliment, to ships tipping on stormy tidal
waves and on into Goya's execution day, Brent has been drawn to these climax
moments depicted in art. The Nature's Wrath series is a modern vision of
classical romanticism.
