From her serenity to her wrath, dramatic lighting and expressions of nature inspire my creations. Geometric mysteries are often collaged underneath rich layers of painterly strokes, where experimentation and rhythmic patterns will emerge. My hope is to reveal the connective force that underlies all things, inspiring others to find presence in nature and courage to express their own flow of creativity.
St. Marys
St. Mary's Church - In the heart of North Dakota, where the whispers of the past are as tangible as the crisp air, I found my muse in a tiny old black and white church photo I found during the internet's infancy. Stoic against the elements and submerged in water, the church was apparently rendered vulnerable on the day the dike broke.

To those who may have experienced this event, I could only offer a fragment of the story. I hope it is an invitation to a contemplative space where beauty arises amidst tribulation, a reminder of the power of faith and community that outlives the momentary triumphs of nature's fury.
